slings…

I have this thing for slings. Lately I noticed Walmart has been carrying some cool looking canvas type fabric that works well for back pack slings. At $2 a yard you can’t go wrong. So I had hoped to get one done before we went to Canada… and looks like I made it by the hair on my chin… (and no there isn’t even one hair on my chin! LOL) 

So it looks like NEXT WEEK we are headed to Canada! :) oh MY! Sometimes I think we’re nuts! ;) 

Here it is jen! I hope you love it! I think it looks very nice! I’ll iron it *hopefully* before we come.. the straps will look nicer then…

aww so cute… so many things run thru my mind besides *hold still* or *keep your head tipped* as I cut these handsome boys’ hair! :) I remember their first hair cut. Oh it was so hard to snip those red locks. well here they are all trimmed and ready for summer. 

Of course the only way to tell who had to be first was by flipping a coin… ok i know you all are thinking they should’ve wrestled for the last turn but well… who has time for that?! :)

Spring walk at Gma’s

Each year around this time… we take a walk outside… all of us.. it’s quite a train. Why I didn’t get a picture of that you ask? well it was really sunny! :) I’ll have to do it next time! :) I just thought now… i could’ve stood across the street! LOL

i know i know…

I hear you all saying ” you change your blog all the time!” lol…

are you really surprised!? :) I love change! And I was feeling tired of some of the same ol things. I’ve had this blog for a long time and I like it to really depict where we are. So here is where we are… after really thinking about it… since i don’t knit much and haven’t really ever blogged pictures of my knitting and most people don’t even know what looping is… i took that off… 

so that left, learning, laughing, loving 

after typing a few things into thesaurus, I found… delight… oh i like that! and then felt on my heart and was reminded… we are His delight…

another blah day

So in all the hustle and bustle I keep forgetting to say … Uncle Phil is redesigning our floor plan. Ben made me a deal I just couldn’t pass up. If I settle for remodeling this home, he would get the ball rolling and see if we couldn’t get it started this YEAR! I am so excited. It is turning out exactly how I wanted it! I’ll post the final blueprint, but for now we are still on the main floor working out all the *bugs*.

here is a spray of paint swatches… that is the color scheme for my main living/kitchen/dining room.
